About Janet:
Janet McHenry has been writing for the Christian publishing industry for over 35 years, with 25 traditionally published books--including nonfiction, fiction, and children's books.
Two of her books have hit bestseller lists: PrayerWalk and 50 Life Lessons for Grads. With a journalism degree from UC Berkeley, she formerly worked as a newspaper journalist and has written thousands of articles, devotions, and blogs.
A national speaker, Janet has spoken at conferences, retreats, and prayer events across the country and teaches weekly on varied writing topics for the She Writes for Him Tribe.
She is a certified life coach for writers and hosts the Sierra Valley Writers Retreat in her home.
Janet and her husband Craig live in the Sierra Valley, where he is a cattle rancher and where they raised their four children. She loves to help others find joy and promise through prayer and the study of God’s Word.
